Founded 1953 in Changchun as China's first automobile factory, 第一汽车制造厂. Built the Jiefang (解放) trucks and the Hongqi (红旗) limousines driven by Mao and Zhou Enlai. Restructured into 一汽集团 in 1992. Home to joint ventures with VW (一汽大众), Audi (一汽奥迪), and Toyota (一汽丰田).
