How to delete your p8nda account and what happens to your data.
How to delete your account
- Open the p8nda app on your device
- Go to the Settings tab (bottom right)
- Tap Log In if you are not already logged in
- Once logged in, tap your email to open Account
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone section
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion by entering your password
What data is deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Account credentials: Email address, password, and linked Google account
- Flashcard decks: All saved decks, word lists, and session history
- Word history: All viewed words
- Translation history: Personal translation history
- Learning statistics: Stroke practice scores and per-word study data
- Settings: All user preferences
- Devices: All linked devices
What data may be retained
The following data may be retained for operational purposes:
- Anonymized usage logs: AI usage statistics with no personal identifiers
- Shared translation cache: Cached translations are shared across all users and not linked to individual accounts
