1. Who we are

p8nda is operated by Volverix sp. z o.o., registered in Poland. References to "we", "us", or "p8nda" in these terms refer to Volverix sp. z o.o.

2. Acceptance

By using p8nda (the website or the mobile app), you agree to these terms.

3. The service

p8nda provides Chinese language learning tools. The service is provided "as is" without warranties.

Mobile app

Chinese dictionary, AI translations and AI Q&A (powered by Gemini), flashcard decks with practice and stroke order modes, audio pronunciation, offline access, and cross-device sync.

Website

Chinese dictionary with word pages, search with sentence breakdown, stroke order animations, audio pronunciation, and image OCR (paste a screenshot to extract Chinese text).

4. Accounts

You may use the dictionary and website without an account. Creating an account enables syncing across devices (mobile app). You are responsible for your credentials.

5. Usage limits

  • Mobile app (no login): Full dictionary, 15 AI translations/day, local flashcards.
  • Mobile app (free account): Adds sync across devices and 25 AI translations/day.
  • Free (website): Full dictionary, search, sentence breakdown, 10 OCR/day.
  • Pro: Extended limits and premium features. Pricing announced separately.

6. Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service (automated scraping, circumventing limits, illegal use).

7. AI-generated content

Translations, OCR results, AI Q&A answers, and dictionary content generated by AI may contain errors. They are for learning purposes only and should not be relied upon for professional or legal translations.

8. Intellectual property

The app, website, and dictionary content are owned by Volverix sp. z o.o. Your user-generated content (flashcard decks, etc.) remains yours.

9. Termination

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account anytime.
