Half of a fixed pair with 广义, broad sense. Academic writing opens by fixing scope with the two together, the tight reading of a term first, then what the loose one adds, so meeting one usually means the other is a line away.
mistakes
Nothing to do with 狭窄, physically narrow, and it carries no hint of narrow-minded. It describes how tightly a term is defined, and in 狭义相对论 the settled English is special relativity, not narrow.
