出自南北朝民歌《木兰诗》（又称《木兰辞》）开篇："唧唧复唧唧，木兰当户织。不闻机杼声，惟闻女叹息。"历来两种解读：一指织布机声，一指木兰叹息声。后文"不闻机杼声，惟闻女叹息"暗示是叹息。《木兰诗》为乐府双璧之一，与《孔雀东南飞》并称。

usage

"唧唧"拟声词，双音节叠用极常见（唧唧喳喳、唧唧咕咕）。"复"意为"又"。本句节奏感强，是古诗拟声入诗的典范。
