history

Made by the South Korean studio PUBG Corporation and released in 2017, it set off the battle royale boom. The name means 'seeking survival in a desperate place'. Tencent's licensed mobile version 刺激战场 was replaced in 2019 by 和平精英 'Game for Peace'.
