Note 滑板车 (kick-scooter) is the small stand-on type, not 滑板 (huábǎn, skateboard) and not 电动车 (diàndòngchē, generic e-bike/e-moped). 电动滑板车 has unclear legal status in many Chinese cities — often allowed only on private property.
