Tips

history
In imperial China the 檄文/檄书 was a public document rallying troops or denouncing an enemy. 陈琳’s 《为袁绍檄豫州》, attacking 曹操 before the Battle of Guandu (200 CE), is the canonical example - 曹操 reportedly read it while ill and was so startled by its force that his headache vanished.
