Tips

usage
拌 = tossed/dressed cold. The classic preparation is 拍黄瓜 (smash with the flat of a cleaver so the cucumber cracks along its grain, absorbing dressing better), then toss with garlic, vinegar, sesame oil, and chili. 拌黄瓜 and 拍黄瓜 are often used interchangeably on menus.
