Tips

culture
Loanword from Japanese internet slang 賢者タイム (kenja taimu, sage time): the period of detached lucidity right after orgasm. In Chinese it has spread beyond the original meaning to describe any post-impulse moment of regret-free clarity (e.g. after binge shopping or eating).
register
Internet slang. Casual to crude depending on context, not for formal writing. The literal-only sense "sage's mode" doesn't really exist; the term is essentially always the slang one.
