One of the three sons of Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King Li Jing (李天王), alongside elder brother Jīnzhā (金吒) and famous youngest brother Nézhā (哪吒). The trio appear in 《封神演义》 and 《西游记》; in later Buddhist syncretism Muzha is identified with the bodhisattva Mokṣa, a disciple of Guanyin.
