usage
An ordinary teacher is a 老师 or 教师. 教育家 is kept for someone who shaped education itself, such as 蔡元培 or 陶行知.
mistakes
教 here is fourth-tone jiào, as in 教育 and 教室. The first-tone jiāo is the verb 'to teach', as in 教书.
