Almost always used rhetorically or negatively. 你好意思? = 'How dare you?' / 'Have you no shame?' The negative form 不好意思 is much more common and means 'embarrassed' or 'excuse me.'
mistakes
Don't confuse with 不好意思 (bù hǎoyìsi, embarrassed/sorry). 好意思 without 不 carries a tone of reproach or disbelief.
