Tips

history
Sima Qian kept the chapter type 本纪 'basic annals' for those who ruled all under heaven. 项羽 never became emperor, but after the fall of Qin he divided the empire among the lords as Hegemon-King of Western Chu, so his annals stand between the First Emperor's and those of 刘邦. The chapter also tells of 鸿门宴 and of his last night at Gaixia, the scene of 霸王别姬.
