美纹纸 (lit. 'beautiful-pattern paper') is the painter's-tape style of masking tape — typically yellow or off-white, low-tack, low residue. The decorative washi-tape used for journaling/scrapbooking is usually called 和纸胶带 (hézhǐ jiāodài) instead.
