The opening of 《
饮酒·
其五》 by
陶渊明 (Eastern Jin):
结庐在人境,
而无车马喧. The poem continues
采菊东篱下,
悠然见南山 (Picking chrysanthemums by the east hedge, at ease I see the southern mountain). One of the most beloved poems in the Chinese canon, and that closing couplet is arguably the single most quoted lines of pastoral poetry.
