Meanings

Táiwān hé Xiānggǎng shǐyòng fántǐzì.

Taiwan and Hong Kong use traditional characters.

Wǒ kàn de dǒng fántǐ, dàn xiě bù chūlái.

I can read traditional characters but can't write them.

Zhè běn shū yǒu fántǐ hé jiǎntǐ liǎng zhǒng bǎnběn.

This book has both traditional and simplified editions.

Opposed to 简体 (simplified). Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau use 繁体; mainland China and Singapore use 简体. Often extended as 繁体字 'traditional character.'
