Shu Han official of the Three Kingdoms era who urged sending troops to win Hanzhong for Liu Bei; Zhuge Liang admired this and made him governor of Shu Commandery, around Chengdu. His life is told in 《三国志》.
Yang Hong was an official of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period.

His case for sending every man to Hanzhong is remembered in eight characters: 男子当战，女子当运, 'the men must fight, the women must haul supplies'. A man he recommended, 何祗, later rose to govern a commandery of his own.
