history
Yang Hong served as Grand Administrator of Shu Commandery (蜀郡太守) and was praised by Zhuge Liang for his decisiveness during Liu Bei's 222 CE defeat at Xiaoting. He argued for defending Chengdu against a proposed retreat. His biography appears in 《三国志·蜀书》.
