Tips

culture
Best known from the end of 秦观's ci 《鹊桥仙》 about the Herd Boy and the Weaver Girl, who meet once a year: 两情若是久长时,又岂在朝朝暮暮 "if love is to last, what need for every morning and evening together?". The phrase itself goes back to 宋玉's 《高唐赋》, where the goddess of Mount Wu comes as clouds at dawn and rain at dusk.
mistakes
朝 is read zhāo "morning" here, as in 朝三暮四, not cháo "dynasty; to face".
