The usual spice scale on menus and delivery apps runs 不辣 'not spicy', 微辣 'mild', 中辣 'medium' and 特辣 or 重辣 'extra hot'. 微辣 is the safe choice in a Sichuan or Hunan restaurant, where even mild can be hot.
