Okayama is the legendary home of 桃太郎 (Momotaro, the "Peach Boy") in Japanese folklore - the prefecture leans hard into the connection with peach merchandise everywhere. It is also famous for 备前烧 (Bizen-yaki) pottery and Korakuen, one of Japan's three great gardens.
