usage
Five universities share the 交大 lineage, all tracing back to 南洋公学 (1896): 上海交大, 西安交大, 北京交大, 西南交大 (Chengdu), 新竹交大 (Taiwan, now merged into 阳明交大). Always name the city (上海交大, 西安交大) unless context is obvious.
