Tips

culture
The whole ci: 郁孤台下清江水,中间多少行人泪。西北望长安,可怜无数山。青山遮不住,毕竟东流去。江晚正愁余,山深闻鹧鸪。 'Below Yugu Terrace flows the clear river, and how many travellers' tears are in it! Looking northwest toward Chang'an, I see only countless hills. The green hills cannot hold it back; in the end it flows away east. At dusk on the river my sorrow deepens, and deep in the hills a partridge calls.' Zaokou is a river town in Wan'an county, where Jin troops had chased the fleeing Song empress dowager in 1129; 辛弃疾 wrote the ci there around 1176.
