Skincare ladder by texture: 乳 rǔ (milk/lotion, light) → 霜 shuāng (cream, richer) → 膏 gāo (balm/paste). 身体乳 = body lotion; 身体霜 (shēntǐshuāng) = body cream — the same logic applies for face products.
