Two classics carry the word in their titles: 王维's poem 《山居秋暝》 "Autumn Dusk at My Mountain Home", and 黄公望's Yuan-dynasty scroll 《富春山居图》 "Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains", whose two surviving parts are kept in Hangzhou and Taipei.
