Tips

grammar
Two uses: (1) negative imperative 唔好+verb = 'don't do X' (≈ Mandarin 不要 / 别); (2) adjective 'not good' (≈ Mandarin 不好). Context decides which. 唔好去 is 'don't go', 呢度唔好 is 'this place is no good'.
culture
唔好意思 (m4 hou2 ji3 si1) - 'sorry / excuse me' - is possibly the most-heard Cantonese politeness phrase after 唔该. Both translate to 不好意思 in Mandarin.
