The 模 here is read mú (second tone), NOT mó. This is a common mistake. In 模一样 it's always mú, while in 模型 (model) and 模仿 (imitate) it's mó.

usage

一模一样 is a very common phrase in spoken Chinese. It follows the ABAC idiom pattern (一A一B). Often used with 跟...一模一样 or 长得一模一样.
