About the ingredient

A bright green Italian sauce of crushed basil, garlic, pine nuts, olive oil and hard cheese, sold in jars or made fresh. It is used mainly to dress pasta.

Contains tree nuts and milk

usage
青 here is the green of herbs, so 青酱 is literally 'green sauce'. It is the usual menu word for pesto; the sound loan 派斯托 is rare.
