From the Ruan Zhao legend: a Han-era man who followed fairy women into the mountains and, lost in pleasure, never found his way back. Later a Tang-dynasty tune name, cemented by the Tang poet-priestess Li Ye's line 阮郎迷 — 'do not get lost like young Ruan.'
