The two halves come from different classical sources: 《晋书·阮修传》 uses 酣畅 for uninhibited drinking, and Ouyang Xiu's Song-dynasty 《释秘演诗集序》 uses 酣嬉淋漓 for unrestrained enjoyment. They fused into the modern form.
