Pan-fired green tea from the hills west of Hangzhou's West Lake; flat blade-like leaves and a chestnut aroma. Top-grade leaves are picked before Qingming (清明前) from a few protected villages - Shifeng, Longjing, Yunqi, Hupao, Meijiawu - and command very high prices.
