茶饼 includes 七子饼 (seven-piece cake, ~357g, the standard pu'er disc), 砖茶 (brick tea, often Hunan/Tibetan dark tea) and 沱茶 (bowl-shaped). Pressing tea began in the Tang for transport along the 茶马古道 (Tea-Horse Road) into Tibet.
