煤气灶 strictly means a stove burning piped or bottled gas (天然气/液化气). For an induction cooktop use 电磁炉, and for an electric ceramic hob use 电陶炉. The countertop wok-style burners common in Chinese kitchens are almost always 煤气灶 with two 灶头 (burners).
