history
沧浪亭 was built in 1044 by Song-dynasty poet , who named it after a line from 楚辞·: 可以 ('When the Canglang waters are clear, I can wash my hat-strings'). It is the oldest of Suzhou's classical gardens and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
