气场 began in qigong and feng shui as the field of
气 around a body or a place. Now it is an everyday word for the presence a person gives off:
很有气场 (has real presence),
气场强大 (commanding),
气场全开 (at full power, of a star on stage), and
气场不合 (of two people who just don't click).
