In northern Fujian, home of the 'rock teas' (岩茶) — most famously Da Hong Pao 大红袍 — grown on the weathered cliffs of the Nine-Bend River (九曲溪). Also associated with Neo-Confucian philosopher Zhu Xi 朱熹, who taught here in the 12th century.
