Founded in 1848 (道光二十八) on Hangzhou's West Lake, named after Lin Sheng's Song poem 《》 — 青山楼外楼 ('beyond green mountains there are more mountains, beyond towers more towers'). Famous for 西湖醋鱼 (West Lake sour fish), 东坡肉 (Dongpo pork), and 龙井虾仁 (Longjing tea shrimp).
