梭哈 is a phonetic loan from English 'show hand', the signal in five-card stud that you're revealing everything. Arrived via Hong Kong gambling films in the 70s-80s (周润发's 1987 film 《赌神》 mainstreamed the term). Now also figurative: 'to YOLO all your resources into one bet'.
