usage
The 杷 reading names a harrow, the farm tool used after plowing to crush clods and level a field (also written 耙). This is unrelated to the 杷 reading found in 枇杷 (loquat).
The tree radical on the left. In the 杷 reading the loquat is a fruit tree; in the 杷 reading the harrow is a wooden tool — either way 木 supplies the meaning.
