托尼·史达克

托尼·史达克 is the Taiwanese rendering of Tony Stark / Iron Man. Mainland subtitles use 托尼·斯塔克 (same syllables, different surname characters: 斯塔克 vs 史达克). Stan Lee created Stark in 1963 as a deliberate provocation — a wealthy weapons-manufacturer hero in the middle of the Vietnam War — to challenge readers to like an unsympathetic capitalist. RDJ's 2008 film made him the face of the MCU.

托尼 (Tony) + 史达克 (Stark): 史 shǐ ('S-' as in history) + 达 dá ('-tar-') + 克 kè ('-k'). 克 is the universal final-K syllable: 坦克 tank, 卡夫卡 Kafka, 麦当劳 Maidanglao — all use 克 to anchor the final consonant.
