Tips

culture
A famous 黄茶 (yellow tea) grown on Junshan Island in Dongting Lake, Hunan. Plucked as unopened buds (hence 银针 'silver needle') and then given a 闷黄 'smother-yellowing' oxidation that distinguishes yellow tea from green. Traditionally ranked among China's Ten Famous Teas; legend says the Qianlong emperor praised it.
