Tips

register
As an interjection, highly colloquial Weibo/WeChat register from around 2020 onward. Same vibe as English 'I'm dead' or 'I can't even'. Not tied to literal vomiting. Close cousins: 麻了 (I'm numb from it), 绝了 (wild / amazing).
mistakes
Don't confuse 吐 tù (to vomit, used here) with 吐 tǔ (to spit out, e.g. 吐痰 'to spit').
