Tips

history
His idea that sovereignty resides in the 公意 (general will) became a foundation of modern republicanism and was cited extensively by Robespierre. 爱弥儿 (Emile) founded modern progressive education.
mistakes
卢梭 (Rousseau) and 罗素 (Bertrand Russell) are easy to mix up: both render a 'Rous-/Russ-' name with similar sounds. 卢 is a common Chinese surname, but here it only carries the sound of 'Rou-'.
