凉风 is the welcome breeze of a hot summer, as in the Chan verse 春有百花秋有月，夏有凉风冬有雪 'spring has its flowers and autumn its moon, summer its cool breeze and winter its snow'. In classical poetry it can also mean the autumn wind.
