Tips

culture
烧仙草 (hot grass jelly) is a traditional Hakka and southern Fujian dessert - black jelly made from the dried 仙草 herb, served warm with peanuts, beans and coconut milk. The chain, founded in Sichuan in 2007, turned that old dessert into a milk-tea menu format now copied nationwide.
