Tips

history
In 1205 the teenage 元好问, on his way to the examinations, met a hunter who had killed a wild goose; its mate circled, crying, then dashed itself to the ground. He bought both birds, buried them by the Fen River and named the grave 雁丘, 'Wild Goose Mound'. The ci is cited with its tune, as 《摸鱼儿·雁丘词》.
