Outwardly innocent - 陪 'accompany' + 聊 'chat' - but in practice carries a strong gray-market connotation: paid chat-companion / online escort / phone-sex-adjacent service. In purely friendly contexts speakers prefer 陪人聊天 or 陪我说说话 to avoid the implication.
