Patriotic poet who spent his life advocating for the recovery of northern China from the Jurchen Jin. His final poem 《示儿》, addressed to his sons, is one of the most famous in the Chinese canon. Also remembered for his tragic love affair with 唐婉 and the poem 《钗头凤》.
