usage
轳 is bound; it appears only in 辘轳, the rope-and-crank windlass mounted over an old well. The vehicle radical fits because it is essentially a turning wheel-and-axle device.
Left is the vehicle radical 车, the simplified silhouette of a cart seen from above. It marks the character as a wheeled or rotating mechanism — here the crank and drum of a well windlass.
